Just about to go to bed and an article on yahoo caught my eye. The article itself isn’t what provoked me to write about this -the comments below did. I’ve come to expect ignorant statements which border on racism from the likes of Bachmann and the rest of those right wing tea party idiots. How any of these fools have been elected to office is perplexing to say the least. If anything its a testament to how far this country has fallen. I commend Sen. McCain for what he said. I don’t agree with the majority of the things he says but I have respect for the man.
But the comments below were full of ignorance and complete disregard. Some of them were genuinely shocking. I think one person said something like ” we should but a bounty on their scalps, the watch they will all be gone in 2 years”..I’m paraphrasing but it was something really close to that. And there were many many more akin to it. I like to believe people are more tolerant than this but perhaps thats just me giving humanity more credit than it truly deserves.
